Hi
I just got my Inster on 6 Feb 2025 and the AC charger failed two weeks from delivery. It's in my local Hyundai dealership waiting for a 'spare part'. They're not being at all forthcoming with what exactly failed and even less forthcoming as to the ETA for the spare part. I'm guessing it's the ICCU box which has had a lot of problems on other Hyundai EV's. Mine's a 49kWh model with V2L. I was gently charging it on AC (2kW, max) and it just stopped taking current. I tried various EVSE and none works - it recognises that the plug from the EVSE is present, but that's it, then a big error message comes up on the right hand side of instruments saying that there's a problem with the charger circuit. When I took it to the dealership to show them the problem I plugged it into their EVSE at the workshop and "pop!" went a circuit breaker taking out the complete dealership electricity.
In the meantime I have a manual gearbox petrol Tuscon to drive around which isn't exactly my desired vehicle!!!
Anybody else had this problem?
Marcus
